Extracted marble from our quarries is a limestone with a chemical composition which denotes a quantity of CaCO3 ranging between 97 and 99%.
In tracks are oxides of Fe, P, Al and Mn.
Its salient features are:
- a nice color tones white ivory / creamy white
- a compact texture despite the presence of remains of shells shelly fossils and the presence of tiny golden yellow veins and consist of goethite stylotite that do not alter, except in certain areas, the state of cohesion
- easy to get a good polishing that brings out the look fine.
Other physical and mechanical characteristics are those that can testify the excellent nature of these rocks that are suitable for being processed into slabs and tiles in thin section for interior and exterior.
